Rules and Guidelines
This blog was created for clients to publicly post what they eat on a daily basis. The rules are simple. Post everything that you eat during the day on your provided food log as well as online (under daily comments) and be HONEST. If you’re not honest, it’ll show in your results. We will be holding a 90 DAY Paleo/Zone challenge starting January 11th, 2010. You can either stick to Paleo, Zone, or both. We recommend that if doing Zone, you still try your best to stay within the Paleo selection. Refer to the “Paleo” link to see a rough grocery list of foods you can buy. Also refer to the “Zone” link which will guide you to the CrossFit Journal #21 which is a quick concise publication of how the Zone works and what foods weigh and measure out to. Good luck!
Rules of the Challenge:
-$30 Cash entry fee that will go into a pot
-All participants must sign the Commitment waiver
-3 ‘Before’ pictures will be taken on January 11th, 2010, no later than January 13th, 2010: front, side, and back views will be taken. Men are in shorts. Women are in shorts and a sports bra/bikini top.
-The pictures are taken in private and REMAIN PRIVATE. Only the pictures of the top 3 men and top 3 women will be viewed on paper at the gym to determine the winners.
-Each Monday, your food log from the previous week must be submitted either in person or through email. Email food logs to info@crossfitthreshold.com. You will be charged $1 for every day that you are late in handing in your food log. Those late fees will go into the pot.
-All Participants must also complete the base lines tests as performance markers.
-Anyone can enter the challenge but to win you must be a member of CrossFit Threshold.
-3 ‘After’ pictures will be taken on April 11th, 2010 no later than April 13th, 2010.
-CrossFit Threshold trainers will pick top 3 men and women who’s bodies changed the most.
-Paleo/Zone Challenge participants will vote on the top 6 finalists to determine winners.
TO SIGN UP
There will be a sign up sheet starting January 11th-January 13th. You must sign up and submit entry fee. The challenge will officially start Monday, January 11th, 2010.
Be sure to have your ‘before’ pictures taken at time of sign up! If not, just call us to schedule a time to come in but they must be taken before the 13th for you to be a participant.
